378 was the theme for the  2015 events for YKK Philippine’s Inc’s  37 years in the Philippines since 1978.

The Family day held on October 3, 2015  was attended by 264 adults and 196  children. It is on days like this that YKK family becomes one and when every employee get to meet and mingle with other family members. The medical mission at the Santo Thomas Batangas factory was held October 10, 2015. We provided 700  patients  their dental, eye, FBS, and medical check- up . Medicines were disposed as well. Thanks to the 26 Doctors and 2 Nurses who volunteered with YKK employees who were there to serve the Community. 

After giving others a boost with their health, YKK had its own Sports Day. All employees had a competitive and yet friendly Spirit. Zumba, Basketball, Volleyball, Ping-Pong, Badminton, Basketball shoot out ,  were worth all the sweat and fun! Mr Tanaka, in spreading Japanese tradition, taught Soba noodle making and fed all the hungry week-end warrior Athletes. In the end team Red won over the yellow team to garner  the overall award .

The Glamorous 378 Awards Night was the clincher. Celebrating the achievements of our dedicated employees who reached 35, 25,20,15,10, and 5 years  of service. The 35th  year  awardees   Mr Julito Magsumbol the AVP for Factory and Mrs KC Vinas Manager of  MMD were given their  recognition by no other than our President and CEO Mr Francis C laurel,  Mr Tadashi Koshio our EVP for Marketing and Sales , MR Jose Coronel AVP , Mr Jose  C Laurel  and Mrs Jean Murphy Manager for HR and Finance.
A game changing performance by the new employees from the factory gave the party   an uproar as they strutted their aggressive dance moves. Among the 143 who attended the Anniversary Night two were named Stars of the Night

At YKK Philippines we also fasten Love  : Love  for Family, Love for  community, love for self well - being and…  love for Company!
